The position of all Iranian officials in state structures, starting with the supreme leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, was that the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan should not be violated and the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan must be ensured, President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi said, AzVision.az reports.
Iranian President held a meeting with Ilham Aliyev within the 15th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Ashgabat on November 28.
ECO, which was founded by Turkey, Iran and Pakistan in 1985 as a follow-up of the Regional Cooperation for Development, was later joined by Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan in 1992.
The organization holds summits, ministerial meetings and regular sessions to cooperate on trade and investment.
